In this endeavor of creative communication, I'll share with you my passion and my finest art- that of being a teacher. Teaching is not only my dream career, but a lifelong opportunity that is fundamental to my being.I hope that I can inspire you with my narrative. :)

letter of introduction

Since seventh-grade choir, I've known exactly what I wanted to be. My director had been exceptional at fostering community in our class- because of his influence, we were all so connected and motivated. That was when I first realized the true magic of being an effective teacher. I understood that was my calling; to bring people together, help them grow, and inspire them.
I felt a sense of both wonder and security filling out my four-year course plan for the Education and Training, the opportunities I could take to build my future lined up so neatly. Now, nearing the end of my high-school career, I have taken initiative, and devoted myself to teaching others and being a lifelong learner.
Both this year and last, I've had the privelege of participating in the Denton ISD internship program. It’s one of the most enriching hands-on experiences I’ve ever had and has helped me build a strong network of professional contacts and connections with many district schools and educators. Additionally, as a member of Teach Denton, I've had many special extracurricular opportunities working closely with our District Coordinator. This year, I've taken my studies a step further and currently work as an instructor with the Extended School Day program to give me even more experience with every type of teaching, both in and out of the classroom.
Looking ahead, I've been already accepted to the University of North Texas, where I'll earn my bachelors’ degree in Music Education. I want to introduce a general music program to my district to make the fine arts more accessible for everyone.
No matter the suprises that the future throws my way, I’ll be at home in the career where I can shine the brightest for people who need inspiration.
